1st and 2nd Prizes at Aarohan 2017 at Assam Engineering College on 3rd and 4th May 2017

Students of the final year Mechanical Engineering, Royal School of Engineering & Technology, Mr. Debasish Barman, Mr. Debottam Bhowmik, Mr.Gajendar Singh, Mr. Hom Bahadur Karki, & Mr. Kaustav Bharadwaz took part in the Final Year Project Exhibition & Competition under the banner of

Aarohan 2017 organized by ABVP at Assam Engineering College on 3^rd and 4^th May 2017 and were awarded the 1^st Prize.

They carried out their final year project under the guidance of Assistant Professor Mr.Zunaid Ahmed, HOD i/c of Mechanical Department. They have presented/exhibited  their project on “Construction and Design of a Solar Dryer System for drying Agricultural Products”.

Also, Mas.Souvik Roy and Ms.Sushmita Sen, students of 8th Semester, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, RSET won 2nd prize in the State Level Final Year Project Competition held at Assam Engineering College on 03-05-2017 to 04-05-2017. The mentor and guide for the project was Ms. Sumi Kankana Dewan, Asst. Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, RSET. The project is titled “Walkmate- A Smart Walking Stick for the Visually Challenged”.
